Our Story

It all started over 6 decades ago where my grandfather purchased this piece of land. Fast forward to 5 generations of summer vacations and family gatherings - building memories and learning how to swim and waterski, laughs by the firepit or mesmerized by the shooting stars flying across the dark summer skies. Our photo albums and memories don't lie and will be cherished forever.

As the years flew by, most of our family members started to grow older. With the only ones having a young family, we kept the traditions going...

Then Covid decided to put a stop to our family reunions and gatherings. With little we could do and not able to venture far, we decided to do some landscaping, property remodeling, move an existing cottage further onto our property, and build our children a small cottage they could have fun in.

What we didn't know at the time was that we would get lots of interest into renting the two cottages we had. Without much effort, we were renting these buildings almost daily. As a creative visionary and a handyman (and with the help of extra hands), we got to work and built a couple more. Being a marine contractor by trade, it only made sense to acquire an old yacht and bring it back to life for our guests (and ourselves) to enjoy spending time in and sleeping on the lake.

Now, we've decided to bring it up a notch and build a larger cottage as well as a sauna. We hope to have both completed by early spring.

It won't stop there, we have more surprises brewing, and we promise you will enjoy it all as our little paradise keeps evolving with ever flowing ideas that comes to fruition.
